************Installation Instructions for ai2k4EVP.zip**********************

NOTE: AI Aircraft files and ai2k4T.zip have different installation instructions, found inside those packages!!

NOTE: You must have installed EditVoicePack3 first! (3.1 is OK). Get it from http://www.editvoicepack.com You also need to have the NET 1.1 from MS installed (many users already will); details at his site.

NOTE: This installer will only place the EVP import files onto your computer (not install them), you can decide which ones you want when you Import them using EVP.

1. Double click this zip file to open it. You will find this text file and a file called SetupEVP.exe.

2. Double click the SetupEVP.exe file to start the installation. Press Run at the warning screen. You will need to browse to your main EditVoicePack folder; press the ... button and browse to it. Install into that folder.

3. Start EditVoicePack. After it loads, do a web update first. It is automatic if you are connected to the net when you start the program; you can do it manually via Help/About/Check for Updates.

4. Choose File/Import. Browse to your EVP/Propliner Imports folder. Click on the first file in the list and click Open. It will be added to the list of Custom Callsigns (open the tree structure on the left to see it). When you click on it you will hear the callsign. Some of these are aircraft types instead of callsigns. None of these will affect your modern ATC in any way.

5. If you have more than one vcpmod file to import, during step 4 click on the first file and either hold down the Shift key and click the last one, or hold down the Control key and click them one at a time. They will all be imported at one time.

6. If you want to use the classic names for some airports WHENEVER YOU FLY, MODERN OR CLASSIC ERAS, continue the import process in step #4, but browse to the EVP/Propliner Inports/Classic Airports folder. Click on the first one and import as usual. If you decide you don't want that one, just right click it and choose Delete.

7. Once again you can use the Shift or Control keys to select more than one at a time (if desired).

8. Choose File/Save. Wait for the Ready message at the bottom of the screen.

9. Choose File/Update Voicepack. Wait for the Ready message at the bottom of the screen.

10. Choose Tools/Update airlines.cfg file.

11. Exit EVP.

After installation of all the files, start FS2004 and you will have propliner traffic in California and the world!

Enjoy!
