The Goose was one in a long line of Grumman seaplanes, including the
Wigeon and Albatross. The Goose first flew in 1937, and served in
the military as an amphibious transport in WWII. After the war,
several were converted for use as commercialtransports, and flew for
many years. One carrier, Catalina Airlines, flew them "26 miles across
the sea" to Avalon, a resort on the island.

THE AIRCRAFT:

This aircraft is an amphibian, however amphibians seldom work effectively
as a single aircraft in FS98. It now features transparent prop circles.

INSTALLATION (also refer to individual landplane and seaplane zip files)

Included are 2 versions of the same aircraft: The "catg-21l" zip file
includes the wheeled version that can't land on water ( these should
be put in a new cat-g21l folder).

The "catg-21f" file includes the flying boat version (these should be put
in a catg-21f folder).

What you should do is install both and swap between the 2 otherwise
identical aircraft, depending on the type of landing/takeoff.

There you have it an aircraft that can land on runways and water.
